چکیده مقاله:

In this work, the composite sensors made from three components of polypyrrole (PPy), graphene oxide (GO) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) were investigated for acetone vapor detection. The thin films of PPy, PPy/PMMA and PPy/GO/PMMA were separately casted on three glass substrates and their electrical resistances were measured in presence of acetone vapor at room temperature. The results showed that PPy/PMMA blend had a greater response to acetone vapor than pure PPy, due to proper adsorption of acetone onto PMMA surface. PPy/GO/PMMA sensor showed response to acetone vapor about 2 times higher than PPy/PMMA with the same polymer weight ratio (1:1). The concentrations of acetone vapor were varied as 8, 13, 16 ppm from which the sensitivity was determined for sensors. The selectivity of sensors to acetone over ethanol was also examined
