Evaluation of the current status of E-government implementation in Tanzania: Government websites perspectives

This paper provides an evaluation of the current status of egovernment implementation in Tanzania by examining websites for ministries and government agencies. The dataused to analyze fifty one websites for ministries and government agencies were qualitative and quantitative as well. The results were compared with indicators for Tanzania e-government implementation framework. The findings depicted out that the level of e-government implementation was in the stages of digital presence and interaction. The study is useful in improving the implementation of e-government in Tanzania
