چکیده مقاله:

Due to interventions took place in historic cities over the last century, a rather unreliable interaction occurred between the historical context and the new infill components. In other words, although new constructions in historical contexts are undeniable necessities to preserve the physical, social, and economic life of the context and to improve the condition of life and social welfare and coordinating with the needs and requirements of the day, but this may damage the general face of the historical cities if there is no suitable and wise approach. Therefore, this paper had a special look on the confrontation with historical contexts and, in particular, the general approach to the formation of new structures in the historical contexts can be considered as a critical issue. The method in this paper, on the one hand, is included in the enormous arena of the qualitative method with the use of logical reasoning, and on the other hand, is limited in the explanatory framework. The study aimed to examine the important place of infill design in architecture and urbanization, and review the present ideas and criteria, as well as reading the importance of preserving thehistorical textures.
