چکیده مقاله:

The fields of computer science and electronics have merged to result into one of the most notable technological advances in the form of realization of the Internet of Things (IoT). Internet of Things networks can be used for many applications across different industry domains including infrastructure monitoring, civil service, security and surveillance applications etc. The impact of IoT in healthcare, although still in its initial stages of development has been significant. Now-a-days global ageing and the prevalence of chronic diseases have become a common concern. it is urgent in the near future for the healthcare industry to develop advanced and practical health-related technologies and services by leveraging information and communication technology (ICT) and apply them directly in the home environment. This paper attempts to review and understand the applications of IoT in personalised healthcare to achieve excellent healthcare at affordable costs. In this paper we review a system that enables PHDs to share information in home networks and with the Internet based on a new Internet of Things protocol, namely the Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP). CoAP is used along with the IEEE 11073 family of standards, which is the main exchange data model for PHD communication. Also another system, which is a drug management system makes it possible to deliver drugs to the patient on time and without the presence of the nurse. This kind of system is safe and more effective.
