New generations of biodiesel production

Biodiesel that known as an efficient and environmentally friendly fuel can be obtained as a monoalkylester of long-chain fatty acids derived from a renewable lipid feedstock like vegetable oil or animal fat. This oil is an ester leading from the transesterification reaction of a carboxylic acid with an alcohol catalyzed commonly by a base such as NaOH, KOH, etc. Nevertheless, biodiesel can also be achieved through the esterifying process by an acid, peroxide, or enzymes.
