چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: The prognosis of early Breast Cancer (BC) depends on the patient and neoplasmfeatures. The present study showed the clinicopathological characteristics and survival of early BCpatients.Materials and Methods: Two hundred and thirty-six patients were included in the study. The meanfollow-up time was 59.5 months (range: 12-204 months). The inclusion criteria consisted of thefemale patients aged 20 years and early BC patients (stages ІІA).Results: The mean age at diagnosis was 51.2 years (range, 23-83 years), and 68.6% of patientswere aged 45 years. Most patients (92.8%) did not have lymph node metastasis, and luminal hadthe highest prevalence (54.2%) in patients. The 8-year Overall Survival (OS) and Disease FreeSurvival (DFS) rates were 98.3% and 92.3%, respectively. With regard to molecular subtype, thepatients aged ≥60 years had more luminal (36.8%), while those aged 30-39 years had moreluminal (73.3%). Grade was more prevalent in the patients with luminal and grade ІІІ wasmore prevalent in the patients with HER2 overexpression. Stage ІІA and Ki67 index ≥14% weremore prevalent in the patients with tumor size of 2≤T≤5 cm compared to another tumor size groupand Ki67 index. Conclusion: The results showed that the mean age of early BC patients was around 50 years, andage, molecular subgroup, and tumor size could be more significant and effective factors involved inthe prognosis and survival of the patients.
