چکیده مقاله:

This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of synbiotic on the tibia bone morphology and performance of broiler chickens. A total of 225 male Cobb500 broilers were randomly allotted to 3 treatment groups with 5 replicates and fed for 49days. Experimental diets including 0, 10 or 15 g synbiotic per kg of diet. The experimental diets were formulated based on corn-soybean meal. The results showed that weight gain in starter, feed conversion ratio in grower and European efficiency factor in total experimental periods were better for broilers fed diets supplemented by 10 or 15 g of synbiotic(P<0.05), but other performance parameters did not vary significantly among groups and the control. The morphological measurements of the tibia bone showed no response in length, diaphysis diameter, thickness of the medial wall, modularly canal diameter and tibiotarsal index to dietary levels of synbiotic as compared with the control diet. But using of 10 or 15 g of synbiotic per kg of diets had improvements effects on tibia weight and ash percent or tibiotarsi weight/length index (P <0.05). In conclusion, the results from the current study suggest that feeding of synbiotic have a beneficial effect on production efficiency and tibia bone quality in broiler chickens.
