Effect of Dust Deposition on Total Dry-Matter Production of Wild Mustard and Wild Barley Weeds in

The effect of dust on total dry-matter of wild mustard (Sinapis arvensis) and wild barley (Hordeum spontaneum) in a research greenhouse situated in a faculty of agriculture, Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran in 2016 and 2017, was studied. The pots were arranged in a completely randomized design with four replications. Analysis of variance was done as factorial split in time. The factorial combination of two weeds species, and three dust concentration as the main factors, and four harvest time as the sub-factors). Result showed total dry-matter in wild mustard was significantly higher than wild barley. In addition, 1500 μg/m3 dust decreased total dry-matter by 45% compared with first site (0 μg/m3 treatment) at fourth harvest.
