Effectiveness of self-hypnosis training on Mental Health and Strategies for Coping with Stress in Women with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease

چکیده مقاله:

Introduction:The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of self-hypnosis training on Mental Health and Strategies for Coping with Stress in Women with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease.Method:The research method was semi-experimental with pretest posttest design with control group. The statistical population of study included all Women patients with gastroesophageal reflux in Zahedan hospitals and clinics (2018), Using convenience sampling, 30 of them criteria for entering the research and were willing to participate training sessions, selected and randomly assigned to the experimental group (15 participants) and control group (15 participants). The experimental group received 6 sessions of self-hypnosis training while the control group did not receive any training and intervention during this period. All subjects were evaluated before and after training using research tools. Data analysis was using multivariate analysis of covariance analysis in SPSS 18.Result:The results showed that the people in the experimental group, who received self-hypnosis training, had higher mental health and Strategies for Coping with Stress in compared with the control group in the post-test.Conclusion:Based on the results of this study, self-hypnosis training can be a good way to improve the psychological status and coping strategy of women with Gastroesophageal.
