Confrontational Study of Implicit Meaning in the Translation ofKhayyam Nishaburi's Poetry Quatrains

Khayyam Nishaburi is one of the prominent figures of Iranian poetry outside the borders of the country, and thisrecognition and fame is owed to English translations, especially the translation of his quatrains by people such as EdwardFitzgerald, Peter Ivory, John Heath Stubbs, etc. Of course, there have been many translations of Khayyam's quatrains indifferent languages, but most of them are literal translations and, with the exception of a few, not much attention has beenpaid to the implicit meanings in any of them. Based on this, in this study, the comparative investigation of the implicitmeaning in the translation of Khayyam Nishaburi's quatrains is of interest. But before dealing with the main discussion, itis necessary to provide general information about the subject.
