چکیده مقاله:

Globalization is the distinction between yesterday's world and today's world. This idea was innovatedthe following day after the end of World War II with for solving the world problems, not the people ofthe world, by collective intellect. There is a conception of some people regarding culture globalizationas creating a pervasive culture for all the existing local, national and continental cultures. A culture inwhich the language, desires, values, and spending leisure time for all peoples of the world (irrespectiveof their national, continental, and even their economies) are similar and vernacular culture weakensgradually. In contrast to the globalization approach, there are other approaches, which are mainly withinthe general context of the "community" debate and are subsets of the basic ideas of "context" and"communication". Some of these approaches include: contextualism, regionalism, traditionalism andnew traditionalism, vernacular and neo-vernacular, imagism, humanism, etc. Among the above approaches, regionalism with the definition "applying the traditional forms to fulfill functional goals”, hasprovided a good ground to raise the interaction of architecture and cultural context namely with themodern architecture approach. In this descriptive-analytical study using documentary library research,we examine the different types of regional-oriented architectural types and their similarities and differenceswith other architectural styles such as vernacular and nationalism. Finally, after the data analysis, the results are presented in two sections.
