This simulation is a numerical study based on the finite volume method. Heherin, a simple flat plate is investigated by considering heat transfer and fluid flow characteristics. Then four models of that includingribs with different angles of ۲۵, ۳۵, ۴۵, and ۵۵ degrees are studied. The objective of this thesis is to decidewhich case can be better from a simple flat plate. The simulation is incompressible and ۲ dimensions. The achieved results show that The local Nusselt number increases as Re numbers. There is a drastic increase in Nusselt number due to the presence of the rib. The rib induces a blocking region in the front and a vacuum region at the back which causes more heat transfer in the region. The Nusselt number values are higher for high Reynolds numbers before the rib. However, there is a slight variation in the values behind the rib. Also, it can be observed that the higher Reynolds number creates a thicker boundary layer causing a lower heat transfer zone. As the rib angle increases, the Nusselt number increases except in case D. As the rib angle increases, the friction factor increases. According to the productivity factor, for Re numbers less than ۱۰۵۰۰۰, Case C is better and for Re numbers more than ۱۰۵۰۰۰, Case B can be better.
