چکیده مقاله:

Lipid-based nanocarriers such as nanoliposomes are spherical lipid vesicles, which have numerous advantages, comprising the ability to encapsulate material with different solubilities, the use of natural components on an industrial scale, and the possibility to target them. Conventional liposomes made from natural lecithin are prone to to physical and chemical instabilities, like aggregation and peroxidation. A hydrocolloid is defined as a colloid system wherein the colloid particles are hydrophilic polymers dispersed in water. Such substances contain both polysaccharides and proteins which are capable stabilizing foams, dispersions and emulsions. The liposomes/hydrocolloid complexes are expected to protect the encapsulated bioactives compound from severe environmental conditions, while providing its controlled release. In this review, hydrocolloid-coated liposomes (Chitosan, Pectin, Alginate, Arabic gum) were investigated for use in enhanced stability of liposomes
