Then, by forming meeting with 21 faculty members, the importance and priority of diagnosis of each of the symptoms was assessed by group discovery method in sari (iran). Findings: In this study, six major and six minor criteria were identified for hot and cold liver dystemperament, and eight major and ten minor criteria were identified for the dry and wet liver dystemperament. Discussion and Conclusion: This study suggests that some of the diagnostic criteria in the literature are less commonly used today. Also, some of the signs or symptoms, such as pulse, urine, and skin indices, need to review. Further studies and clinical trials are recommended in order to more accurately assess major and minor diagnostic criteria of liver maladaptation, and validation of indicators and instrumentation for liver liver dystemperament.
