چکیده مقاله:

Multi-generation energy production systems allow reaching higher efficiency, because by integration of different systems, the possibility of recovering the highest exergy from the input energy increases. The proposed biomass-based multi-generation system consists of a biomass gasifier, a S-CO2 cycle and a BR-MSF desalination subsystems producing power, pasteurized milk, hydrogen, oxygen and distillate water production. Energy and exergy analyses are conducted for the proposed system. In order to determine the effects of design parameters on the energy and exergy efficiencies of the system and the mass flow rate of distillate water, a parametric study is carried out. The inlet temperature of main compressor (T1), inlet temperature of turbines (T5), inlet pressure of main compressor (P1), intermediate pressure between turbines (P6), producer gas mass fraction (MF), equivalence ratio (ER), compressors pressure ratio (Rp) and brine salinity (xb) are considered as eight decision variables. Additionally, The energy and exergy efficiencies and distillate water mass flow rate of multi-generation system at the base point are found to be 66.4%, 43.67% and 4.727(kg/s) respectively.
